Can you provide a brief overview of your background and professional experience?

I’ve developed a well-rounded and practical skill set through a strong foundation in both accounting and customer service. While pursuing my bachelor's degree in marketing, I worked as a customer service representative for a student loan servicer, where I supported clients with account inquiries and repayment solutions. After graduating, I joined the Philippine Navy as an accounting assistant, where I honed my skills in accounts payable, financial reporting, and taxation.

What motivated you to pursue a career in your field?

I’ve always been drawn to both numbers and people—I love the clarity that comes with working through financial details, but I also enjoy connecting with others and helping solve their problems. Studying Marketing gave me a broader perspective, but it was my early job in customer service that showed me how rewarding it is to make complex information easier for others to understand. That experience, combined with my interest in financial systems, naturally led me to a career that blends both.

Are there personal/ professional goals you are working towards? 

I’m currently focused on expanding my skills in digital tools that streamline accounting and tax processes. On a personal level, I’m working toward becoming a more confident leader, taking on projects that challenge me to think strategically and collaborate more effectively.
